Electronic cigarettes are like a tobacco cigarette, but they’re not actually a tobacco cigarette. Some say they may be a safer and healthier alternative to smoking, you should evaluate and decide for yourself.

Ecig distributors do not claim they are safer than traditional cigarettes and Ecig distributors are not promoting them as a means to quit smoking. The earlier three piece designs consisted of a battery, an atomizer and a cartridge that contained the liquid solution. The latest and most advanced electronic cigarette is a two piece design consisting of a battery and a cartridge. The battery provides the power source for heating the element of the "atomizer" thereby producing vapor.

With the newer two piece designs the "atomizer" is incorporated into the cartridge, so that when you have depleated the liquid in the cartridge and put a fresh cartridge on the battery you are also replacing the "atomizer". It streamlines the process by eliminating the need to worry with cleaning atomizers or refilling cartridges.
